MomsFirst

MomsFirst is a home visiting program that supports pregnant moms less than 39 weeks pregnant and women who have experienced an infant loss in the last six months prior to enrollment. Our goal is to aid in healthy pregnancies and birth outcomes so our babies will reach their first birthday. We provide education that addresses risk factors for infant mortality.

We offer referrals for mental health, smoking and substance abuse. We also provide help with finding a doctor for mom and baby, answer questions about prenatal care, infant care, birth control, and family planning, and distribute bus tickets for transportation to medical appointments WIC, and work. Mom and baby will stay in the MomsFirst program until the baby is 18 months.
